Please join us in a free class designed for people with Parkinson’s and their families/care partners.

In these classes with teachers trained by the Mark Morris Dance Group and Brooklyn Parkinson Group’s Dance for PD® program, participants will explore music and movement in ways that are enjoyable, creative and stimulating.  This program is appropriate for all levels of PD.  No dance experience is required.

This six-week session will be offered on Wednesday afternoons March 4 – April 6, 2020.  The movement class is from 3:00-4:00pm, and there is also an optional social hour (snacks & fellowship) from 4:00-5:00 pm.  The classes are held at the Turner Senior Resource Center, 2401 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor, MI  48105.  There is no fee for these classes, but space is limited and pre-registration is required.  For more information or to register, call 734-998-9353.  This class is made possible by support from U-M Geriatrics Center, Gifts of Art at Michigan Medicine, and generous funding from Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor.
