A dozen units earn hand hygiene compliance honors for January

Twelve different units across the organization received the highest hand hygiene compliance scores in January!

Congratulations to the PCTU, neuro ICU, 5A, SICU, 6A, 6B, CCMU, 7A, 7E, 8E, Brandon NICU and RC. They will be added to the Infection Prevention & Epidemiology Honor Roll, along with: UH OR, CVICU, PICU, 12W, MSSU Maize, SSS, EVS, 7W, 8DNS, 8C, 8B, 7B, pediatric dialysis, Mott OR, 6C, VV OR, adult dialysis, 4A, adult ED, pediatric ED, CVC 5, 4B, 5B, CVC OR, MSSU Blue, 8A, Mott PACU, VV PACU, 11W, 12E, 5C and PFANS.

A number of ambulatory care clinics also received recognition for hand hygiene compliance over the last quarter.

Those clinics include: Rogel Cancer Center MOHS, C&W Adult BMT Clinic, C&W otolaryngology, CVM at Domino’s Farms, Comprehensive Wound Care Clinic at Domino’s Farms, Taubman Medical Dermatology and UH radiology/oncology.
