The University of Michigan Center for Gastrointestinal Research invites you to our 35th Annual Retreat, Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. The retreat will be held at the Biomedical Science Research Building, inside the atrium and Kahn Auditorium.
This year’s honored Yamada Lectureship speaker is Gary D. Wu, M.D., Ferdinand G. Weisbrod Professor in Gastroenterology Director, Penn Center for Nutritional Science & Medicine, Co-Director PennCHOP Microbiome Program, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. His Yamada Lectureship presentation title is “Lessons Learned from Interventional Studies on Diet and the Human Gut Microbiome”.
We are pleased to announce that Drs. James J. Moon – “Engineering strategies for modulating the gut microbiome”, Eric C. Martens – “Diet and microbial contributions to spontaneous inflammation in interleukin-10 deficient mice”, and Thomas M. Schmidt – “Gases and the Gut Microbiome” will honor us with presentations highlighting their research.
