Featured speaker, Michael D. Rosenblum, MD, PhD will provide the symposium’s keynote address: “Immune Regulation in Skin.”

Dr. Rosenblum is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of California San Francisco and one of the world’s leading skin immunologists. The central focus of his research is to understand how immune responses are regulated in tissues and how this knowledge can be applied for therapeutic benefit.

The UM-SBDRC Annual Symposium provides the chance to learn about the latest in skin biology and disease research; to see what core services are provided by the UM-SBDRC; and to interact with Center members. Attendees are encouraged to share their skin-relevant research in poster format.

This free event is sponsored by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, UM Medical School and Department of Dermatology.
