The C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital Congenital Heart Center will roar into 2020 to raise money for congenital heart research and families of children with life-threatening heart conditions.

The annual Save A Heart event will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Marriott Eagle Crest Resort, located at 1275 S Huron St. in Ypsilanti.

Funds raised will help advance education and research opportunities in the field and also provide much-needed financial relief and support to patients and families who are facing life-threatening congenital heart conditions.

The event includes a strolling food tasting from some of the best-known local restaurants, as well as a large selection of wines and microbrews from around the world. This year’s presenting sponsors include Conor O’Neill’s Traditional Irish Pub, Running Fit and Plum Market.

Tickets are $75 in advance and $90 at the door. They may be purchased in advance at www.umsaveaheart.org. Sponsorships are also available.
