All Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to a Pediatric Grand Rounds, where Adam B. Hill, M.D., will present a talk entitled “A physician’s story of mental health and addiction recovery.”

Hill is an assistant professor of pediatrics and director of pediatric palliative care at Riley Children’s Hospital.

His discussion has three objectives:

  • To help health care professionals learn about the stigma/stereotypes of mental health and addiction in the medical field
  • To discuss the obstacles/barriers in the way of seeking mental health treatment
  • To create an open space for vulnerability to share experiences and stories.

The Grand Rounds will be held from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7 in the MCHC Auditorium (F2305 UH South).

For those interested in meeting with Hill one-on-one following the discussion, please email dmalton@med.umich.edu.

See you there!
