Michigan Medicine is pleased to be hosting Gift of Life MOTTEP’s 10th Annual Kountz/Callender/Drew Transplant Symposium on Friday, March 27 at the North Campus Research Complex. The symposium is designed to promote the exchange of ideas on cultural empowerment and how to create a community of change in regards to organ and tissue donation. Experts highlight ways to engage physicians, healthcare professionals and community leaders to become champions in saving lives. Presenters will examine the roles and responsibility of professional and public education to encourage strategies to increase the number of organs available for transplantation and promote healthier communities. This program is open to health care professionals across Michigan and any community members interested in learning more about transplantation.
