Register for universal skills training today!

December 13, 2019  //  FOUND IN: Our Employees,

The next step in Michigan Medicine’s journey to high reliability begins in January, when universal skills training begins for all faculty and staff.

If you are not already familiar with the concept of high reliability, this approach helps organizations improve safety and reduce errors by equipping all employees with select skills and best practices. The four-hour Universal Skills course that everyone across the organization will receive is designed to provide background information on high reliability, further explain the goals the organization is trying to achieve on this journey, and develop the specific skills to improve teamwork and reduce errors.

Universal Skills will be taught by faculty and staff – leadership from across Michigan Medicine have volunteered to teach these classes and have been undergoing training to ensure they have the skills necessary to conduct effective, engaging sessions.

There are still spots available in classes scheduled for January, so please log into MLearning and register today. The course SAFE-90239 should appear in your “My Learning” plan but if not, you can search for it using the search bar.
