Record-setting winter clothing drive coats the community in kindness

Over the past few months, Michigan Medicine faculty and staff came together to keep their neighbors warm this winter!

A record-setting 800 articles of new or gently used and laundered items (coats, gloves, hats, scarves and more) were donated as part of the 4th annual winter clothing drive.

The items were collected at sites across Michigan Medicine and the greater Ann Arbor area. The Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor then distributed the donations to The House by the Side of the Road, a nonprofite whose mission is to provide adequate clothing and small household items at no charge to children and adults in need.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this drive bigger and better than ever!
