Last call: Sexual misconduct training deadline coming Dec. 31

December 24, 2019  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Michigan Medicine is committed to the university’s effort to prevent sexual harassment and misconduct. That entails calling on faculty and staff to maintain a respectful, inclusive and equitable working and learning environment free from sexual harassment and misconduct.

Everyone plays a role in preventing sexual harassment and misconduct at U-M. Therefore, it’s important that all members of the community learn how they can help.

Earlier this year, U-M launched a new online module, “Cultivating a Culture of Respect: Sexual Harassment and Misconduct Awareness” that outlines how to maintain a respectful, inclusive and equitable environment. It also provides information on what to do if you or someone around you is the target of misconduct or harassment and resources for support.

Participation in the online training module is mandatory for all Michigan Medicine faculty and staff, including student, temporary, bargained-for and graduate student employees.

You must complete the training by Dec. 31.
