Description
The course will help participants examine the hiring cycle and how to implement practices that mitigate bias. Participants will consider their position, identify how bias can show up in the hiring process and review best practices.
You will learn to:
- Provide brief review of how unconscious bias can influence decision-making.
- Identify factors and practices that maximize the effectiveness of job searches.
- Discuss the ways bias may inadvertently influence recruitment, hiring and selection activities.
- Identify ways to apply what was discussed in this class to your work life.
