PolicyStat training session set for Thursday, Nov. 21

You may have heard that PolicyStat has a notification system that will help to remember when documents are due for review or approval. This system will be activated on Nov. 22.

What does this mean? It means you will begin to receive weekly reminder emails from PolicyStat if you have open items in PolicyStat. You will also receive the email if a document for which you are the owner is due or is past due for review.

If you’re an approver, you will receive a notification when a document is ready for your approval.

In preparation for this, a training session is available for document owners, editors and approvers on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 9 a.m. The training will focus on how to complete assigned actions in PolicyStat.

Topics include:

  • Searching
  • Notifications
  • Approval workflows
  • Reviews
  • Approvals
  • Creating new documents

To sign up for the training, please click here to add your name to the sign-up sheet. If you are unable to attend in-person, you may join us online. If this date does not work for you, let us know if you would be interested in attending a future training session.

For more information on the notification system, visit the PolicyStat Learning Center and check out the article entitled: Who Receives Notifications in PolicyStat. The article explains which notifications you can expect to receive based on your role.  Note: Turning off email notifications does not relieve you of your responsibility to complete the required action.

Please contact Cathie Joynt (catjoynt@med.umich.edu) if you have questions or comments or can’t find the answer you need in the PolicyStat Learning Center.
