Thank you to everyone who attended the 2019 Connection Session on Navigating Michigan’s Legalization of Recreational Marijuana with Adolescent Patients!

As an outcome of the session, the Adolescent Health Initiative created its second Timely Topics module, “Addressing Adolescent Marijuana Use in Brief Clinical Encounters.”

This module invites participants to examine their values around adolescent marijuana use, hear the latest from youth about how they use, why they use and how they want to be communicated with.

Subject matter expert Joanna Quigley, M.D., shares highlights from the latest research, along with recommendations about screening, brief intervention, treatment options and confidentiality with minors.
