Laura Kaufman was awarded the 2019 Preceptor of the Year award. She has been a preceptor for the School of Nursing for over 20 years, having hosted 15 students  in just the last five years. The University of Michigan Nurse-Midwifery Service was awarded the 2019 Departmental Preceptors of the Year award. As a group, the nurse-midwives have hosted students for over 20 years. They have had over 80 of our nurse-midwifery students in just the last four years. In addition, they are also dedicated to supporting medical students, resident physicians, and Ann Arbor Public School students who are interested in midwifery. The School of Nursing Office of Practice and Professional Graduate Programs wishes to thank ALL of our preceptors for everything they do to support our graduate nursing students. We are sincerely grateful for your partnership and look forward to continuing to provide excellent learning experiences for our students. We couldn’t do this without you!
