The event — which will take place from 8:30 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, Oct. 22 — will feature a keynote address by 2019 Taubman Prize recipient Sir Stephen O’Rahilly, M.D.

He will receive the Taubman Prize for his contribution to new understanding of obesity and metabolic diseases.
The symposium will kick off with a poster session and continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the BSRB lobby; O’Rahilly will receive the Taubman Prize award and deliver his keynote, entitled, “The Causes and Consequences of Human Obesity”, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Kahn Auditorium at BSRB.
No registration is required to attend.
