Plan ahead: M11 surface lot closure beginning Monday, Oct. 28

Please be advised that a project is scheduled to begin next week in order to create an on-site office space for the management of the new hospital construction.
As part of that project, the existing trailer behind the Simpson Institute will be demolished and rebuilt. This will be done in two phases: demolition and construction.
- Phase 1 is scheduled to begin on Monday, Oct. 28 and is anticipated to last through Friday, Nov. 8. In order to safely demolish the existing trailer, surface lot M11 will close (which includes 11 spaces, primarily Business Vehicle). Once demolition is complete, the parking will be returned to service.
- Toward the end of 2019, Phase 2 will begin with the delivery of a temporary office unit. At this time, the M11 parking lot will close for the installation work. This timeline will be clarified as information becomes available.
The new office unit will remain in service through late 2024.
