It’s National Pharmacy Week! Thank you to our pharmacists, technicians and support staff

It’s National Pharmacy Week and in recognition, Michigan Medicine is thanking all of its pharmacists, technicians and support staff for the role they play in helping the organization advance health to serve Michigan and the world.

From the academic medical center to ambulatory care facilities across the region, the pharmacy staff are an integral part of the care team.

“Our team procures, stores, repackages, compounds and distributes the majority of medications across Michigan Medicine,” said Stan Kent, chief pharmacy officer. “We also optimize drug therapy and keep our patients safe through clinical treatment recommendations and closely monitoring drug therapy.”
