Star search: Nominate the MVPs from your unit or department!
Last weekend, the U-M football team kicked off its season by defeating Middle Tennessee State in the Big House.
But the gridiron isn’t the only place where the university can find a nationally-ranked program — it’s also true right here at Michigan Medicine. And that’s thanks to the faculty and staff in each unit and department who carry out exceptional patient care, education and research.
Headlines wants to know which colleagues help your area succeed on a daily basis — which coworkers you consider to be your superstars and MVPs!
Email nominations to firstname.lastname@example.org. The submissions will be entered into a raffle to win cool prizes, such as movie passes and Michigan Medicine swag!
You can nominate anyone you like, from a coworker who recently launched important programs — like Lori Flint, B.S.N., R.N., who runs the Ann Arbor Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group — to an entire team, such as the colleagues in otolaryngology, who were among the groups to complete a successful survey visit with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
Or just pass along your kudos to an individual who delivers high-quality care or services to patients and families every single day. After all, it’s everyone’s hard work and dedication that makes Michigan Medicine the leaders and best in health care.
Email your entry by Friday, Sept. 13 and stay tuned as some of the top entries will be featured in an upcoming edition of Headlines.
Thanks for all you and your colleagues do at Michigan Medicine and, as always, Go Blue!
