U-M faculty are invited to register now for an interprofessional faculty facilitation workshop to be held Sept. 5 from 3-5 p.m. at Palmer Commons Great Lakes North. Faculty from all three U-M campuses are welcome.

Learning objectives include:

  • Describe key factors to consider when facilitating interprofessional teams.
  • Identify facilitation techniques as applied to interprofessional education/practice.
  • Practice interprofessional facilitation skills to foster collaboration among students and/or colleagues.

The workshop will help with skill-building that can be utilized in leading interprofessional courses and offerings (including IPE in Action). It is sponsored by the Michigan Center for IPE and its Faculty Development Committee (chaired by Caren Stalburg, M.D., M.A., of the medical school’s Division of Professional Education in the Department of Learning Health Sciences, and associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology).

There is no cost for the workshop, but space is limited, so register now!
