In her lecture on Thursday, September 12 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in Danto Auditorium, Dr. Susan Ellenberg from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, will discuss the role of Data Monitoring Committees/Data Safety Monitoring Boards (DMCs/DSMBs) in the clinical trial oversight process. She will address the various controversies of DMC/DSMB operations and the issues of which trials actually need the oversight of an independent DMC/DSMB. Register here
