Roehrig will provide a brief history of AFSCME and share his perspectives on the value of an engaged membership base, effective communication between labor and management, and the building blocks of a strong labor-management partnership. The events will include a welcome and brief remarks by university leadership, as well as time for questions and answers and an informal meet and greet at the conclusion of the program.
This event is hosted by the Leadership Collaboration Group (LCG). The LCG is joint project of university leadership, management, Human Resources and AFSCME leadership. The LCG’s mission is to improve workplace satisfaction, promote local problem solving, and promote productivity by jointly addressing issues of common concern to management and labor.
