First annual Rogel Cancer Center fundraiser goes swimmingly
Last Friday, more than 100 people took part in the inaugural Swim Across America Motor City Mile event to benefit the Rogel Cancer Center. The charity swim was designed to raise awareness and funds for clinical trials and cancer research. 100 years of safety: Units honored for quality care all day, every day
Employees on 6C have gone a full year without a CAUTI. The faculty and staff on 12E have made it 365 days without a pressure injury. And 8C was recently recognized for going 12 months without a CLABSI. Those are just three of dozens of units across Michigan Medicine who have made patient safety a priority and earned one of the 100 365 Days of Safety awards given out to date.
