MyUofMHealth mobile app gives patients a new way to manage their health

June 20, 2019  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Michigan Medicine’s MyUofMHealth patient portal app has seen some important updates, making the app easier for patients to find (and install) on their mobile devices.

Prior to this update, many patients had trouble locating the convenient tool in Google Play or the App Store — using the intuitive search terms “MyUofMHealth” or “Michigan Medicine” would not bring up the app in search results.

The updated app can be found by searching intuitive search terms and is easily identified by its icon, which features a blue folder with the Block M.

Patient use of the MyUofMHealth Patient Portal app is becoming increasingly more important because it provides them with a simple and convenient way to interact with Michigan Medicine at the tip of their fingers. Patients can:

  • Access medical records
  • Schedule and view appointments
  • Receive notifications if earlier appointments come available
  • Check in for appointments online
  • Pay their bill and view statements
  • Review test and lab results
  • Refill medications
  • Request an E-Visit to receive expert evaluation for common, non-urgent symptoms
  • Participate in video visits

Brochures and other materials referencing Epic’s MyChart app will be phased out and replaced with updated documents.

Patients can still use Epic’s MyChart app to access their Michigan Medicine patient information, which will continue to be supported alongside the new MyUofMHealth Patient Portal app. For more information, please visit MyUofMHealth.org.
