Save the date: DEI Staff Community Conversations

May 9, 2019  //  FOUND IN: Strategy & Leadership

As U-M reaches the midway point of its five-year Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Plan, faculty and staff have helped to cultivate a university community where all are welcome, and are provided with opportunities to thrive and excel.

While acknowledging successes throughout this process, there is still much work to be done in becoming the university everyone in the community aspires for U-M to be.

In support of shaping the future of the university, all members of the Michigan Medicine community are invited to save the date for one of the upcoming Staff Community Conversation events:

  • Thursday, June 20: 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., NCRC Building 10 Research Auditorium
  • Thursday, June 20: 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Michigan League, Hussey Room
  • Friday, June 21: 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., University Hospital, Ford Auditorium
  • Friday, June 21: 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Kensington Hotel, Westminster Room

Each event will provide you with an interactive opportunity to share your ideas and experiences in making U-M a more diverse, equitable and inclusive environment.

These events will help generate feedback that will be shared with leadership, schools, colleges, units and Michigan Medicine to shape future DEI plans.

A digital flyer for this event is available for download.

Thank you for all of your efforts and the organization looks forward to seeing you at one of these events!
