Retirement Reception Honoring Rachel L. Glick, M.D.

Rachel L. Glick, M.D., Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, is retiring June 30, 2019.

Dr. Glick joined the University of Michigan faculty in 1991.  She has held many leadership positions within the Department of Psychiatry and Medical School, including Associate Dean for Student Programs (1998-2004), Director of the Alice Hamilton House in the M-Home Learning Community (2015-current), Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services (1993-1998; 2007-2017), Director of Medical Student Education (1994-1998), and Associate Chair for Clinical and Administrative Affairs (2006-2016).

Dr. Glick provides psychiatric care to patients at the University Health Service.  Her work was most recently recognized when she received the Medical School’s Outstanding Clinician Dean’s Award in 2017.

Please join us to celebrate Dr. Glick’s distinguished career as leader, scholar, educator and recognized national and international leader in the field of mental health disorders, particularly in psychiatric emergency services.

A reception in her honor will be held Tuesday, June 18th, from 4:00-6:00 pm in UH Dining Rooms C/D.
