2019 ‘Don’t Skip a Beat’ Symposium makes call for abstracts

Abstracts for the 2019 “Don’t Skip a Beat, Mending a Broken Heart” Cardiovascular Symposium in Ann Arbor are now being accepted.
The event is hosted by the Michigan Medicine Professional Development and Education Sigma Rho Chapter. It is sponsored by a grant from the Frankel Cardiovascular Center and will be held from 7:15 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Kensington Hotel on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Abstracts are due May 31 and should be related to cardiovascular care or research.
Review criteria will include:
- Patient and family centered care
- Multidisciplinary collaboration
- Clinical innovation
- Quality improvement
- Care excellence and evidence-based practice and research
Please limit the abstracts to no more than 300 words. Once submitted, the abstracts will undergo a blind peer review by the conference planning committee.
