TGIF! It was a week full of appreciation at Headlines, as employees took a look back at the annual Employee Appreciation Breakfast and Dinner.
On top of that, supervisors showed their appreciation for administrative professionals (on Administrative Professionals’ Day); faculty and staff demonstrated how much they appreciate patients and families during Patient Experience Week; and individuals discussed their appreciation for improved access thanks to Michigan Medicine’s recent collaborations with St. Joseph Mercy Health System.

Delicious and delightful: Annual event recognizes employees for passion, excellence
Last Wednesday, more than 8,000 employees enjoyed a free meal, as a way for Michigan Medicine leadership to recognize their efforts. With breakfast or dinner offered in the University Hospital cafeteria, along with a photo booth and giveaways, the employee appreciation event was a blast for everyone involved. Optimizing capacity and the patient experience: Checking in on St. Joe’s partnerships in Ann Arbor, Chelsea
Two unique collaborations with Saint Joseph Mercy Health System (SJMHS) have paved the way for improved patient access to Michigan Medicine. Individuals requiring inpatient admission are now being presented alternatives to University Hospital: the 10 East Medicine Unit at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea.
