Caregivers: Decrease stress, increase confidence, cope with emotions
Do you help a family member or friend with physical care, finances, emotional support, legal issues or activities of daily living?
“Powerful Tools for Caregivers” is an interactive six-week workshop to help you manage the daily challenges of caring for a loved one. A new session starts on May 1 for faculty, staff or their family members. Each workshop is evidence-based and led by certified leaders.
Learn to:
- Decrease stress and learn to cope with difficult emotions
- Increase confidence in managing caregiving demands
- Communicate better with your family, friends, and health care or service providers
- Set goals and problem-solve
- Locate community resources
Workshop starts May 1
To get the most out of this experience, you are encouraged to attend all six weeks. Snacks will be provided at all sessions.
Dates: Wednesday evenings, May 1 – June 5
Where: Wolverine Tower, 3003 S. State Street, Ann Arbor
Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
