Lab occupants can drop off chemicals for safe disposal

U-M Medical School Facilities and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) have partnered to offer free Chemical Amnesty Days to all medical school lab occupants.

Now is your chance to free up more lab space by getting rid of expired, unknown or unneeded chemicals. Drop them off at one of the following locations:

BSRB: Wednesday, April 3

  • Room B300 (8 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

NCRC: Thursday, April 11

  • Building 26, room 220S (8 a.m. – noon)
  • Building 520, room G399A1 (1 p.m. – 4 p.m.)

MSRB I, II & III: Tuesday, April 16

  • MSRB III, Room A100 (8 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

Brehm & KEC: Wednesday, April 24

  • Kellogg Tower, Room 225 (8 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

Med Sci I & II: Tuesday, May 7

  • MSRB III, Room A100 (8 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

Rogel Cancer Center: Tuesday, May 21

  • Rogel Cancer Center dock (8 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

Please note, no manifest is required for these events and all manifesting will be completed by the Haz Mat representative(s) on-site.
