Recording of High Reliability town halls available online

February 25, 2019  //  FOUND IN: Strategy & Leadership

If you were unable to attend the High Reliability town halls hosted by The Office of Patient Safety, you can now access all of the information online. A recording of the presentation as well as the slide deck are available on the Quality Department website.

The town halls provided an overview of information presented by Healthcare Performance Improvement (HPI), the organization’s partner consultant on this work.

If you are interested in learning more about Michigan Medicine’s journey to high reliability, representatives from the Office of Patient Safety are available to visit individual departments or units to discuss the findings of HPI’s research.

The next phase will bring HPI together with the High Reliability Steering Committee and many others to begin formulating the training and education plan for leaders, trainers and all employees. Once this plan has been created, training will begin with the leadership group.

More information will be shared with all staff as this training phase begins.
