Faculty workshop: Navigating the new Michigan Research Experts platform
Michigan Research Experts, a searchable database of nearly 5,000 faculty members across disciplines at U-M, has upgraded to the Dimensions platform.
Michigan Research Experts is an ideal tool for showcasing researcher expertise, discovering researchers for collaboration or mentoring, identifying potential reviewers and exploring publication networks across the preeminent U-M research enterprise. Join a workshop designed to help faculty learn to navigate the database to manage your own profile, find research experts by topics and explore funded research around the world.
The database can be searched by individual name, concept or “free text” excerpt. Each participating faculty member has an individualized profile page that highlights their distinctive research expertise to the global research community by providing a rich representation of their publications (updated continually from a wide range of data sources) and grants (U-M data from eRPM).
Clinical trials and patents data for the institution are also included in the database.
This workshop is open to all faculty who would like to learn to navigate the options on the new platform.
