The University of Michigan Center for Gastrointestinal Research invites you to our 34th Annual Retreat, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. The retreat will be held at the Biomedical Science Research Building, inside the atrium and Kahn Auditorium.
This year’s honored Yamada Lectureship speaker is Frank J. Gonzalez, Ph.D., Laboratory Chief, Laboratory of Metabolism, Center for Cancer Research, National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. His Yamada Lectureship presentation title is “The role of bile acids, microbiota, nuclear receptor signaling, toxic lipids, and gut-liver communication in metabolic disease”.
We are pleased to announce that Drs. Elizabeth Speliotes, Yatrik Shah, and Jun Hee Lee will honor us with presentations highlighting their research.
