Thanks to funding from the U-M Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative, the Adolescent Health Initiative was able to develop a new series of four Spark trainings to help health centers provide patient-centered care to LGBTQ+ adolescent patients.
Spark topics include an intro on common terms and concepts, affirming care for transgender youth, inclusive language, and welcoming environments: forms, fields, and physical spaces.
The 15-minute, ready-to-use presentations can be done as stand-alone workshops for staff and provider meetings, or can be completed all together in one 45-60 minute session. Download the free trainings today by clicking here!
