You’re invited: Screening, panel discussion of ‘The Danish Girl’

The Office for Health Equity and Inclusion invites all members of the Michigan Medicine community and up to three guests to a special screening of the film “The Danish Girl.” The screening will be followed by a panel discussion focused on topics of diversity, equity and inclusion.

The film and discussion will help to increase awareness of issues related to transgender and sexual orientation.

The event will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 4, beginning at 5:15 p.m. in Ford Auditorium at University Hospital.

Panelists include:

  • John Randolph, M.D., professor of obstetrics and gynecology
  • Ellen Selkie, M.D., M.P.H., assistant professor of pediatrics; research director, Child and Adolescent Gender Clinic
  • Will Sherry, director, Spectrum Center
  • Moderator: Gary Freed, M.D., M.P.H., Percy and Mary Murphy Professor of Pediatrics, director of faculty programs, Office for Health Equity and Inclusion
