Ingrid Racine Trio to offer free jazz concert at University Hospital

Ingrid Racine will perform at University Hospital on Thursday.

Ingrid Racine (trumpet and vocals) leads Ann Arbor-based jazz ensembles, performing modern arrangements of American standards.

Known for performing a diverse range of musical styles, this U-M School of Music graduate adapts tunes from the 1920s to the bebop era, infusing them with 21st century inflections of hip hop, electronica and rock.

On Thursday, Racine will offer a free concert for the Michigan Medicine community. Look for live stream video of the performance on the Gifts of Art Facebook page.
