Free Americana concert coming to University Hospital

Sam Corbin will perform Thursday at University Hospital.

Sam Corbin is an Ypsilanti-based performing songwriter and member of the Earthwork Music Collective.

With influences ranging from the thought-provoking troubadours of Greenwich Village, New York, to the soul singers of Detroit, Corbin writes honest and meaningful songs drawn from day-to-day life.

His third album, entitled “Let the Fire Burn Strong,” was released in early winter 2016 and was named by John Bommarito of Ann Arbor’s 107.1 FM as his No. 1 album of that year.

Ypsilanti-based musician Jason Dennie will join Corbin on mandolin for an upcoming performance at Michigan Medicine. Check out the free concert for yourself or look for livestream video on the Gifts of Art Facebook page.
