Dr. MIna Bissell to present at the 17th Annual Pathology Research Symposium

The Department of Pathology is pleased to present the 17th Annual Pathology Research Symposium. The day will be filled with talks from faculty and graduate students. The keynote speaker, Dr. Mina Bissell will begin at 11:30 a.m. Dr. Bissell is a Distinguished Scientist in the Biological Systems and Engineering Division of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Her talk is titled, “Why don’t we get more cancer: The critical role of extracellular matrix and microenvironment in malignancy and dormancy.” A poster session will follow the keynote address.
