Upcoming symposium to focus on ethical, legal and social implications of learning health systems

All Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to the 3rd annual ELSI symposium on the ethical, legal and social implications of learning health systems. The event is scheduled for Nov. 9.

This year’s focus will be on cases and lessons learned from emerging learning health systems and their enabling technologies locally, in the state of Michigan, and across the U.S. to address cancer and other chronic diseases.

Special emphasis will be placed on themes and issues arising in previous symposia such as trust, systems ethics and equity.
