Six units honored for hand hygiene compliance

Congratulations to six areas across Michigan Medicine, who were recently honored for recording the highest hand hygiene compliance scores in September.

Those units were: Portable imaging, lab/phlebotomy, PICU, PCTU, 4B and the pediatric emergency department.

All six areas will be added to Infection Prevention and Epidemiology’s honor roll, along with other high-performing units. Other honor roll members for September include: 12W, MSSU Maize, 7E, 11W, EVS, 8E, 8DNS, pediatric dialysis, radiology prep/recovery, 12E, CICU, 7W, SICU, 4A, CCMU, CVC5, 8C, Brandon NICU, 6A, CVICU, NeuroICU, MSSU Blue, 6B, UH PACU, RT, CVC PACU, 4C, 6C, adult emergency department, 7B, 7A, 5A, 5C.
