MiChart upgrade a success

The latest system upgrade for MiChart, Michigan Medicine’s electronic health record, to Epic’s version 2018, was successfully completed at 3:57 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Downtime was a total of 2 hours and 27 minutes. While there were no new major modules added to this version, the upgrade has enabled some significant enhancements and changes in appearance.

The most significant changes are listed on the MiChart 2018 upgrade webpage, where additional updates will continue to be posted.
