HITS continues efforts to improve how MiChart displays on Windows 10 devices

Please be advised that plans to deploy a solution for MiChart to display with larger, easier to read font are being rolled back due to functionality issues identified with some MiChart workflows.

HITS has been working to improve the default display on new Windows 10 CoreImage devices because the resolution standard released by Epic Systems resulted in some issues with font size and clarity. In order to have a full page of the electronic health record appear on a screen without having to scroll right, the font size was significantly reduced.

The HITS Device Engineering team is now investigating other vendor-supported options that may provide display improvements that are both ergonomically and functionally appropriate for all users.

Watch for updates on the Windows 10 Upgrade Project page.
