Description

The Kresge Hearing Research Institute welcomes Christian Burgess, Ph.D., guest speaker for the Hearing, Balance and Chemical Senses Seminar on Oct. 11. Dr. Burgess’ seminar, titled “Value Coding in Visual Association Cortex,” will be held in Taubman Health Sciences Library, Room 2901 at 11:45 AM. Pierre Apostolides, Ph.D., will host the event. Refreshments will be served.

Dr. Burgess is an Assistant Professor of Molecular and Integrative Physiology at the University of Michigan Medical School. His research focuses on understanding fundamental behavioral states such as feeding and sleep, and how these processes control learning and sensory activity in higher-order cortical networks.
