You’re invited: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summit Week

All Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to attend a full week of important events celebrating diversity, equity and inclusion on campus.
The week will be highlighted by a community assembly and discussion featuring U-M President Mark Schlissel, Diane Guerrero from the Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated series Orange is the New Black, and journalist Leonard Pitts Jr. Other senior leaders from U-M will be on hand as well.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8 at the Power Center.

- Social Transformation through Public Engagement: 2 p.m. – 3 :30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 8, Palmer Commons
- Promoting Equity and Inclusion: Eliminating Sexual Misconduct at U-M: 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m., Monday Oct. 8, Graduate Hotel, Terrace Ballroom
- Student Life Design Thinking Event for Campus Climate Initiatives: 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10, Weiser Hall, 10th floor
- Voices of the Staff film screening, “The Other”: 3 p.m. – 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12, Dow Auditorium
