Registration is now open for Quality Month 2018!
All Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to this year’s Quality Month event, which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the North Campus Research Complex, Building 18.
A full agenda for the day can be found on the Quality Department website.

New this year: 6 nursing contact hours can be awarded for attending the entire event.
The event will kick-off with opening remarks from Steven J. Bernstein, M.D., M.P.H., chief quality officer, followed by a panel discussion about engaging patients in quality improvement initiatives.
A variety of breakout sessions will then be available to choose from, including Leading Change: People, Relationships and the Three Lenses presented by Michael Warden, M.B.A., senior director of Service Management in Health Information & Technology Services.
This year’s keynote address will be given by Peter Rhea, Ph.D., co-author of Exception to the Rule. During his talk, “The Surprising Science of Character-based Culture, Engagement and Performance,” Rhea will define character-based leadership and the tangible benefits it can bring to the rapidly-changing world of health care.
Please contact Quality-Month@med.umich.edu with any questions.
