Don’t forget, break out of your cocoon this afternoon!
Later today, all Michigan Medicine faculty, staff, patients and families are invited to a butterfly release in the courtyards of C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and University Hospital.
This special event focuses on education about the monarch butterflies. Attendees will learn about the monarch life cycle and migration through the state of Michigan to the mountains of Mexico, which starts every September.
To support the research about the migration patterns, butterflies will be tagged with Monarch Watch program stickers.
