Registration now open for special lecture on the opioid crisis

Registration is now open for the 12th annual Susan B. Meister Lecture in Child Health Policy sponsored by the Child Health Evaluation and Research (CHEAR) Center.

This year, CHEAR welcomes Linda Smith, the director of the Early Childhood Development Initiative at the Bipartisan Policy Center. Smith will speak on the topic of “The Effects of the Opioid Crisis on Children and Families.”

Introductory remarks will be given by Chad Brummett, M.D., the co-director of Michigan OPEN and Kelly Orringer, M.D., FAAP, the director of the Division of General Pediatrics.

This lecture is free and open to all members of the Michigan Medicine community and the general public, but registration is required. For more information and to register, click here.
