Interested in LGBTQ research? Do you identify with or support the LGBTQ community at U-M?

Substantial research and scholarship with, for, and by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer or questioning (LGBTQ+) communities is occurring within the organization. Experts will share and discuss their research, career opportunities and more at the LGBTQ Inclusion as Researchers and in Research Symposium for U-M faculty, staff and students.

Interested students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend the free, day-long event. LGBTQ research-related sessions address inclusivity, intersectionality, international cultures and context, policy and law, public health, social sciences, medicine and more.

The event is hosted by the Spectrum Center, Rackham Graduate Studies, and MICHR.

The event will be held Sept. 6 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the Rackham Building.
