Take emergency preparation survey, enter to win a gift card!
Are you interested in helping U-M better prepare and respond to an emergency situation? If so, the university needs your help!
Make your voice heard by completing a survey that will gather information about your experience on campus related to hazards. The information you provide will decrease the community’s vulnerabilities to natural, human-made and technological disasters and help identify activities to lessen the impact of future hazard events.
The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete. To thank you for your time, you will be entered to win a $25 gift card from Amazon. But hurry, the survey will end on Friday, July 13.
Currently, U-M is engaged in a planning process to reduce risks to disasters. This survey provides an opportunity for you to share your opinions and participate in the hazard mitigation planning process.
The hazard mitigation plan aims to:
- Identify current and projected natural, human-made and technological hazards that may impact the university
- Reduce the impact of hazards on people and property
- Increase the university’s overall preparedness and resilience to hazards
The U-M hazard mitigation plan is led by DPSS Emergency Management with assistance from federal grant funding.
Thank you in advance for your valuable insights!
