Help celebrate the retirement of Sue Bade
Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to celebrate the retirement of Sue Bade, lead for MHealthy’s Ergonomics Awareness Program and Occupational Therapy Supervisor.
Sue has spent 35 years serving the health and well-being of the university’s faculty and staff. There will be a retirement party held on Thursday, Aug. 2 from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Wolverine Tower, room 2082.
Sue has been a leader in the field of workplace occupational therapy and medical ergonomics services. Her expertise was key in establishing such services for the university and helping faculty and staff with health conditions or disabilities to perform at their best.
She set a high bar for service excellence and has received many accolades from clients, supervisors and peers.
Sue was also responsible for establishing the Ergo Matching Grant Program, which has been available to help departments make ergonomic improvements to prevent workplace injuries, and the Ergonomics Award Program. She certainly will be missed!
Please recognize Sue’s many significant contributions and wish her well in her retirement.
