Gifts of Art presents free British rock concert at UH

July 25, 2018  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

David Roof will lead a free concert at UH on Thursday.

David Roof’s musical goal is to capture the inspiration that comes at the root of all types of music.

Whether it’s early jazz, blues, rock-a-billy, British invasion rock or emerging artists, there is a raw energy and authenticity to the sound that he aspires to in his playing.

Roof is the bandleader for The Invasion, as well as an in-demand sideman on bass, guitar or whatever instrument may be needed.

For this free show at Michigan Medicine, he will be playing music of the British Invasion on guitar along with Ron Bozzi on bass and Donn Deniston on drums. The MHealthy Farmers Market will also be open in the courtyard during the concert.
